On the 24th July:

1977

A visit to Frampton, by the river there were c60 Curlew, 4 Whimbrel, a Knot, a Ringed Plover, 4 Redshank, 7 Common Sandpipers, a Wheatear, 2 Stock Doves, 2 Turtle Doves, a Yellow Wagtail and a female Mandarin Duck with 2 juveniles. At the lakes we saw a Common Tern and a Tawny Owl.

1982

A trip north to Ekington Bridge where we eventually saw 2 Marsh Warblers, also 8 Reed Warblers, 4 Sedge Warblers, 4 Stock Doves, 

4 Turtle Doves, 2 Garden Warblers, 2 Whitethroats, 2 Yellowhammers, a Spotted Flycatcher and 2 Cuckoos. Later we went to nearby Nafford Island, the original Marsh Warbler site but didn't see any, the best here was a Lesser Whitethroat and 4 Spotted Flycatchers.

1986

On the Galapagos Islands, 9 new birds, a new mammal and 2 new reptiles seen today.
