1977
An early morning drive to Eartham Wood near Chichester to see a Roller, but it had gone! Searching the area we did see 2 Grey and 3 Red-legged Partridges, 6 Tree Pipits, a Grasshopper Warbler, lots of Whitethroats, 10+ Turtle Doves, 7 Blackcaps, 2 Garden Warblers, 10 Roe Deers and 3 Weasels.
We continued to Havant Rubbish Tip where amongst the 100+ Black-headed Gulls and 6 Common Gulls was a 1st summer Ring-billed Gull. Also seen were 6 Little and at least 4 Common Terns, and, in a grassy area near a pool a Yellow Wagtail with a Sykes's Wagtail.

A morning visit to the Marshfield area, seeing a Corn Bunting, 4 Yellowhammers, 2 Tree Sparrows, finches, Rabbits, Hares and a Fox.
2004
At Severn Beach, near high tide, in gale force westerly winds, seeing 2 Gannets, c20 Manx Shearwaters, c6 Fulmars and at least 4 Great Black-backed Gulls.
2013
A return to Slimbridge, seeing 7 Avocets, 40+ Black-tailed Godwits, 10+ Redshanks, a Green Sandpiper, 3 Wigeon, 2 Cranes, c20 Teal and the male Green-winged Teal.
