On the 21st August:

1976

A visit to Frampton Lakes where there were 4 Grey Wagtails, 10 Greenshank, 4 Spotted Redshank, 7 Snipe, 6 Common and 8 Green Sandpipers, 3 Little Ringed Plovers, a Ruff, a Black Tern, a Kingfisher, 4 Cormorants, a Lesser Whitethroat, a Willow Tit and a Turtle Dove.

1977

Overnight in Norfolk, in the morning a visit to Wells Woods, seeing a Wryneck, a Red Squirrel, masses of Chiff/Willow Warblers plus lots of other warblers, 50+ Pied Flycatchers, 5 Red-backed Shrikes, 4 Redstarts, 3 Willow Tits, an Icterine Warbler, a Wood Warbler, a Hoopoe, 2 Wheatears, 30+ Redpolls, 10+ Spotted Flycatchers and 2 Great Spotted Woodpeckers.

From there we went to nearby Holkham Woods where we saw 6 Whinchats, 6 Wheatears, another Red-backed Shrike, again lots of warblers, 8+ Pied Flycatchers, 5 Willow Tits, another Icterine Warbler, 4 Spotted Flycatchers and over the fields a Marsh Harrier, and, in the fields 13 Egyptian Geese

1983

A visit to Oldbury Lagoons, by the Power Station, where there was a Broad-billed Sandpiper, also seen were c600 Dunlin and Ringed Plovers, a Grey Plover, a Spotted Redshank, 14+ Greenshank, a Sanderling, a Ruff and 6 Knot.
