On the 20th June:


An evening visit to Leigh Woods where there was a male Hawfinch with 2 juveniles, a Wood Warbler with another heard, both singing, a Spotted Flycatcher and we heard 3 Marsh Tits, two calling and one of them singing.


Leading a birdwatching holiday to Northern Spain.


The worst day of my life, Laurel died this evening, in hospital, after a brain hemorrhage earlier in the morning. 


In La Perouse Bay, Manitoba on a sound recording trip for the BBC series 'Land of the Eagle'.

A visit to Chittening Warth, Avonmouth, where there was a male Common Scoter, a good bird for the Severn.
