On the 25th September:
1977
A trip to Portland where we saw lots of Wheatears, 15+ Yellow Wagtails, 17 Whinchats, 2 Firecrests, 3 Pied Flycatchers, a Spotted Flycatcher, 5 Redstarts, a Lapland Bunting, heard an Ortolan Bunting flying over, 4 Yellowhammers, 6 Turtle Doves and a Cockatiel.
1979
A drive to Portland to see a Yellow-billed Cuckoo, a new bird for us. Drawings by Laurel Tucker.
1982
Leading a Wingspan tour to Turkey, no new birds seen today.
1983
Leading a Wingspan Tour to Western Turkey.
1988
1998
On a filming and sound recording trip to Zimbabwe, 1 new bird seen today.
2006
A visit to Portishead seafront where there were 2 adult Mediterranean Gulls.
