A male Blackcap in the garden in Portishead, then a visit to Aust Warth to try to see a Short-eared Owl. Although there was an owl in the grass, it remained hidden from my view, but did see 4 Kestrels, Stonechats, Meadow Pipits, Skylarks with several singing and 7 Curlew flew over calling to each other.
