On the 10th March:

1985

A trip to West Wales, at Llangranog we saw a Raven, 8 Fulmars, 6 Guillemots, 8 Shags, 4 Stonechats, a Peregrine, 2 Chough,

20+ Goldfinches, a few Meadow Pipits, 2 Porpoises which were new mammals for me and 4 Oystercatchers.

Over the bog at Tregaron were 5 Red Kites, 17 Buzzards, 10 Ravens, another Peregrine, a Sparrowhawk, a Kestrel, a Curlew, a female Hen Harrier and on a walk alongside the bog we saw 4 Willow Tits, one bird was partially albino with a white head, 2 Treecreepers and 8 Yellowhammers.

From the mountain road, on the drive back east, there was another Kestrel, 4 more Ravens and 4 more Buzzards.

1986

2003

A return to Portbury Wharf, where the best birds seen were the male Ring-necked Duck, 40+ Wigeon and 2 Bullfinches.
