A trip to Berrow where along the beach we saw the Shore Lark again, also seen was a Short-eared Owl, a male Hen Harrier, a Jack Snipe, 3 Snipe, and on the tideline 10+ Curlew, 30+ Dunlin and 30+ Ringed Plovers.
In Kenya, on a BBC sound recording trip, 10 new birds, a new mammal and a new reptile seen today.

In Australia on a sound recording trip, no new birds seen today.
1994
A drive to Torpoint in southeast Cornwall to see a female Desert Wheatear, which was a new British bird for me. Seen at the top of the beach, a very active, approachable bird. On the way back I stopped at several places along the River Lynher, with the highlights being
8 Spotted Redshanks, lots of Golden Plover, 2 Sanderling, 5 Little Egrets, a Spoonbill and a 1st winter Iceland Gull.
2014
A drive into Bristol, to Bishopston where in and around the gardens I saw the adult Rose-coloured Starling again.
