On the 28th June:

1980

A very early morning drive to Cornwall, to Copper House Creek in Hayle to see a 2nd summer Laughing Gull, which we watched for sometime feeding on small crabs on the beach.

On the way home we stopped at the Camel River and walked along the path by the riverside, seeing a few warblers, 3 Spotted Flycatchers, lots of Treecreepers, a Marsh Tit, a pair of Yellowhammers and a Kingfisher.
