On the 21st January:

1990

A drive south to Tanzania, as we passed Nairobi National park saw a Kori Bustard, a new bird for me. Other new birds on the way to Arusha were Capped Wheatear and Hildebrandt's Starling.

1993

In North Island New Zealand where the only new bird was Black-fronted Dotterel.

Visited Mount Bruce Wildlife Centre, which has a large collection of native birds in enclosures and cages, it also has areas of native forest.

2005

In Portishead, and, again there were 6 Waxwings feeding on berries in a bush at the Primary School.
