A trip to Swansea, where at Blackpill there were lots of gulls on the beach including a summer plumaged Little Gull, a Kittiwake and 3 1st summer Mediterranean Gulls.
1980
A trip to Moorend Lane in Slimbridge, to see a Cattle Egret, which proved to be an escaped Asian raced bird with a ring on each leg!

Leading a birdwatching holiday to Northern Spain.

In Algonquin Provincial Park, Ontario on a sound recording trip for the BBC series 'Land of the Eagle'.
