Today we took part in a 12 hour Tally Hunt run by the Bristol Ornithological Club, highlights of the day were a Hen Harrier, a Merlin, a Peregrine, 2 Lapland Buntings and a Brambling at Steart. At Chew Valley Lake we saw a Smew, a Great Northern Diver and a Red-breasted Merganser. At Ashton Court Park there was a Little Owl, at Frampton a Tawny Owl and at Slimbridge Bewick's Swans and a Barn Owl. Our final total was 95 species.
